In fact, the PAST is not only what lies behind the present moment, but also what exists within this very moment. There is, of course, no realm called the FUTURE. It is a superstition, a product of the imagination. For instance, when we make plans for the future, we move away from the NOW. The NOW is, in any case, mostly meaningless. It needs either a memory or a plan. The NOW is a small hill. It is difficult to stand upon, yet still possible for some of us. But even if a single thought crosses our minds, we cannot remain in that magnificent and meaningless place. We cannot stand upon the NOW.
